Feeds and Feeding

Developing nutritionally balanced diet formulations has been key in the development and success of the catfish industry. Nutrient requirements for channel catfish have been extensively researched at DREC, and studies with hybrid catfish are still a work in progress. This research generates cost-efficient feed formulations used by feed mills and optimum feeding strategies on farms.
